How does your knitting garden grow?

Harvest Time: The rabbits are ahead.
This morning's garden picks and a little something I'm working on.  The yarn is from HandPaintedKnitting Yarns.com

I was reading  an article, The Fine Art of Yarn Substitution: Part I, Wraps per Inch from Crochet Me and thought I would share it with you. You can do the same wrap with your knitting needles so no worries there.  Gauge and substituting yarn can be a little confusing, especially when you first begin to knit and crochet.  It's an important part of the process, so when I find a good article on the subject, I definitely want to share it. The process will become easier , you just have to stick with it.

When Dave and I were dating, I went to great lengths to cook special meals and fun things for him and his two girls.  I spent hours pouring over the cookbooks and watched endless hours of cooking shows.  It was difficult at first, but became increasingly easy with a little effort and study.  It's the same with knitting and crochet.  It will become second nature with time and you'll be so glad you didnt' give up.  Look and ask for helpers, dig in and the rewards will be never ending.

Happy yarn substitution graduation day.
Hug your gauge swatches and toss them up in the air all together - they really like it!
