I'm almost back to knitting projects!
While I've been away recovering from a little knitting fatigue in the fingers and wrists after several years of knitting and crocheting non-stop, a few fun things have been happening in knitting.  Here are some of my favorite trends of the season. Enjoy the info and I hope your knitting something wonderful.

Shetland Ponies in Cardigans – Photos & Video! Although this lingers from 2013, I thought I would add it as I love Scotland, I love ponies and I love sweaters so I'm sharing. (not sure how the ponies feel about this, but they seem to tolerate their photo opp like pros)

Lately, I've had my mind on some genealogy research and have been amazed by some of the abbreviations  that I encounter.  I've also had a fascination with the number three for many years, maybe because I'm the third child. My love of wordplay and abbreviations for things comes from my Dad and my husband, Dave. Today, I'm bringing my love of  three and abbreviations to my knitty world.  Here are three things for you that caught my eye today.

Some Mondays just have to begin with something amazing, silly, or just plain fun.  Here's a cute video of the Doozers trying a new pastime called knitting.  Granted, they should probably have started with an easier project to eliminate their frustration.  Perhaps you've shared their exclamations from time to time and wondered if you'd ever get the hang of a paticular stitch or pattern. 

Last weekend a young girl noticed me knitting in the car while I was waiting for a friend.  She came right up to the window and wanted to know what I was making.  Next, the girl turned to her mother and said "I want to do that!"  It turns out she had watched something on television and had seen girls her age knitting and was determined to try it.  

Enjoy the day, laugh a little and take your knitting outdoors for some fresh air during lunch or afternoon break.
