All things Amigurumi ..

A few months ago, I posted about the upcoming 2012 Amigurumi Wall Calendar and a chance to have your project chosen for this project.  Well, the results are in and the Amigurumi Wall Calendar (InterweaveStore)is now available for all Amigurumi fans out there to see.  This makes a really fun gift for the new year.(Hint)

I may be taking a break from blogging tomorrow.  Max ( my puppy) discovered a small tumor on the top of my head (of all places) a few weeks ago and it has to be removed.  No biggy, but just a little uncomfortable.  Normally, I would just keep this kind of tmi thing to myself, but the amazing part of all this is the persistent pawing and checking that Max did to let me know something was up and I better check it out.  Pay attention to your pets and marvel at their capacity for love and devotion... and for constantly wondering...what's up with that?

Tiny Tools Make a Big Difference

Do you crochet, knit, or sew stuffed toys or amigurumi?  Here's a handy tool with two prongs that can make a big difference in the finishing details of your project.  I visited planetjune.com this morning, and found a colorful detail stuffing  tool.  No more searching for the right object to help you put those finishing touches on your toy projects.  Hooray!  Thank you plantejune!  There's even a demo video that will help you learn how to use this tool efficiently for the desired result.  Don't we all like that first thing on a Monday?  Simple, effective, colorful and a great accessory gift for yourself or your fav knitting or crochet buddy.

Also a good cure for monday madness, wouldn't you say?
