Where's Your Wow?

Today's blog is a round up of the terribly knitworthy and the fabulously fun for this week.  Enjoy!

Project Runway - Hard work on CraftStylish by Victoria North, web producer.  Oh how we love the drama, fashion, and snarky remarks of Project Runway.

Big News at Caron International with the announcement of their new spokesperson, Vickie Howell. Check out the Vickie Howell project page for Caron

The Crafty Chica, Kathy Cano-Murillo's new novel Waking Up in the Land of Glitter: A Crafty Chica Novel, is a must have.  I downloaded the Kindle version yesterday and have found it an easy read full of the Crafty Chica's special talent of combining kindness, wit, a wonderful view of the world, as seen through glitter of course, and a few surprises mixed in.

New at Patterworks, Candy Leaflet and Candy Yarn.  Fun patterns and yarn arrive just in time for your spring/summer knit and crochet projects.  How do you do it?

ModCloth and Zappos to start off your spring fling by revamping your wardrobe and household.  Small changes in color and style can really spruce up a girl/guy and keep your home a happy place to be.  Tight budget?  Gather ideas and shop for bargains, free shipping if you're online. Stick to the basics and buy only what you need to accomplish your goals. Sometimes, I start with a wishlist and end up eliminating items that I could do without and leaving only items that I can purchase over time. Overspending will leave you bloated, sad, and tense...soooo not the style for you.

Keep it simple, enjoy your projects and your heart will sing on key and at a lively tempo for all your friends to see.  Be prepared to explain.  They're going to want to know what you've been doing!

Knit-Share-Go WOW the world.

Knit and Crochet with Ease

Chemo Caps made with LionBrand Cotton Ease

Over the New Year holiday weekend,  I was able to whip up a few chemo caps with LionBrand Cotton Ease.  I found it delightful to crochet with, surprisingly soft and definitely durable.  There's a wide range of colors, which is always a plus for any knitter or knotter. It's 50% cotton and 50% acrylic and falls into the weight category of 4, medium worsted weight which makes it an excellent all year round yarn. If you're making chemo caps and would like to use this yarn, please check with you're  organization's yarn list first, to make sure it's an approved yarn.

Hope you have something wonderful on your needles this week.
If you'd like to share what your knitting or crocheting, please comment...and as always and forever, spam is a lunch meat on this blog, so save it for a tasty treat for yourself.

Knit and crochet with lots of warm colors this week to chase away the wintery blast blues.
