BE A SMOOTHIE WITH EDGE-UCATION!

Bookmark and Share

Last week, I wrote about selvages. If selvages aren't your thing, you will want to try this tip to keep your knitted edges firm and smooth. Give it a try!

You can tighten your edges by remembering to do this - follow along ;)...

Knit your first stitch of your row the way you would normally, then on the second stitch you will insert your needle - STOP - pull firmly on the yarn which will tighten the previous stitch and continue to knit second stitch (and all following) in your usual way.

Simple, effective and with a little practice will become second nature.
NOW YOU CAN KNIT - SHARE- GOOOOOOOO! You're a smoothie!
