I received an update from Christine Shively (Knots-of-Love) and a tip regarding yarn so I'm passing it along to you. Knit Picks has 100% Pima Cotton which is very soft and colorful and great for chemo caps. I just happen to have Crayon in Purple in my stash so I'm including a picture. The other hats are crocheted with 100% cotton from Peaches & Creme. You can also find it at your local yarn store.
THE UPDATE IS... 2,531 caps have been donated since june of 2007 - woohoo! Click your needles together - for more info, please visit the site. (click on the link) ;)
The winners of the 2nd Promotional Giveaway will be announced Wed on this blog, so staty tuned. It's not to late to send in your email on how knitting has changed your life! Send to knit1fortheroad@gmail.com. If you are interested in a signed copy of Knit 1 for the Road you can reach me at this email for details. Also, if you have a question about any of the patterns in the book, your email will reach me directly.
Hope you are finding some time today to knit-share-go!
