Events are a great way to keep up with what's new in knitting. Search out Knitting Shows and Events in your area. Knitting stores are a great source of information, as well as the internet to locate an event in your area. If you live near a big city - it's a cinch, not so easy if you live in isolated areas, but they can still be found - no worries.To cut down on cost, join along with a knitting group, you'll have great fun together because you share a common love of all that is KnitNation. Look for deals! You'd be surprised what you can find at a reasonable price with so many vendors in one place.
Look for Ravelers! Ravelry.com is really catching on and you will be running into a Ravelry group for sure - stop by and make new friends. Classes and demonstrations are also available at events, so be sure and check your program.
I'll be heading out myself, June 12th to Columbus Ohio for the
Knitters Connection Event. This will be my first time there and I hear it's spectacular. If you are in the area, or interested, please visit their site to see what is being offered.
