Handmade 4 Hospitals

Looking for a charity the whole family can get involved with?  Handmade 4 Hospitals.  organizes young crafters to make, donate and learn the value of helping children who are in the hospital. It's a great way to teach your kiddos about crafting and donating.

H4H began with a youth group at Bloomfield High School in New Jersey and has members helping to collect and donate items around the world.  There are ongoing projects that include outfits for stuffed animals, warm hats for newborn babies, bracelets, cards, and many other much needed handmade gifts.  They also collect, distribute, learn to work with  local businesses and organize their efforts.  Follow them on facebook and become a fan. Find out how you and your child can get involved and/or donate.  They are currently looking for yarn, so please check your stash and donate what you can.

Back to your regularly scheduled Monday madness...
