In search of the oldest knit artifact...

Lately, I've been surrounded with reminders of history. The oldest community theater in the US, the oldest structures in the state, and on and on and it made me wonder what is the oldest knit artifact in the world? I found two articles that were helpful and thought you might enjoy reading them too. Knitting has evolved through the centuries and we are so lucky to continue the tradition and raise awareness of the wonderful experience of making, sharing and teaching knitting.

Take pride and joy in your stitches today - they've come a long way.
