Do you sew, knit or crochet?

Slippers are knit and made with Red Heart Super Saver Yarn  in Royal and Turqua

Here's what I've been working on this week for The Pink Slipper Project.  I'll be making a few more this weekend to donate next week.  Just felt like sharing a bit, today.

Join in the fun and help others heal by making slippers for The Pink Slipper Project.  There are a variety of  knit, crochet and sewing patterns to choose from.  You can also go to CreatingTheHive and follow along there. Snag their banner from the website (also on my r/h sidebar if you're reading this on blogger) and spread the word.

Allow the healing to begin, for yourself and others.

I love to knit. I just love how the stitches look after the item is block. I just learned how to block.... and it makes a big difference on how the item looks. I have been knitting for over 40 years... I love how I am always learning something new...ie blocking and adding beads.

I crochet afghans because I want to make them fit queen or larger sized bed. It just seems easier.
