Happy Spring project hunting

MaryMaxim's Catalog is out and it's all about spring!  I just love the colors in this adorable Tea Party Set crochet kit made with Starlette yarn, crochet thread, and Size H-8 crochet hook.  It folds up into a handy carrying case and is on sale.  All good.

The next item that caught my eye was the Summer Garden Afghan Kit crocheted with Bernat Super Value Yarn and Size G-6 and Size H-8 crochet hooks.  Cheerful blooms with 0 pollen.  Hooray!

There's super value with Sugar 'n Cream  soft worsted weight, 4 ply, 100"% cotton right now.  There are also 6 free patterns to knit or crochet for your household you can download.  Inspiring and a perfect eco-friendly solution for your home.

Check out the Spring catalog online for more ideas, kits, and sales.

Happy Spring project hunting.

Reach high for the big pumpkin cookie...

The next time you have trouble choosing a color for a project. Look around you. These pics were taken this weekend while we were on trails along the Eastern Shore.
Sometimes, the answer is in your own back yard. Dream and knit in color, everyone!
Have a colorful week wherever you are, and remember to grab a sprinkle of inspiration for yourself and share your enthusiasm.

Shake, Stomp and Roll aha aha!

Today I'd like to share with you what's on my needles and hooks and my projects for the future.

Here are some crocheted caps I'm getting ready to send to
Knots-of-love.org made with KnitPicks Crayon and Caron Simply Soft yarn. These are very soft yarns that are great sleep caps for chemo patients and part of a stash of long forgotten projects.

Next, is my Doris scarf from Pop Goes Crochet by Vickie Howell. I'm using another yarn that I already had but is similar to what the project calls for. VickieHowell Blog. This project is new, yarn is fairly new, and this will definitely get made, probably more than once.

I also have a couple of LionBrand patterns that I will be working on when I can.

and the

Both are free patterns.
Most of us have projects hanging around waiting to be made. Hope this blog inspires you to reorganize, evaluate and jump on the time management train to happy knitting and crocheting this summer. Can't quite jump on that train yet? Try donating yarn and project sheets (a copy of course) that you've had forever and probably won't make. Try a swap with fellow crafters and discover a project that you will make right away.
Shake your knitty life up a little! Opportunities abound to make room for new creative adventures and share your love of crafting with others.
