There's been a weekend hat attack! Check out my modified LionBrand hat made with Lion Brand® Wool-Ease® Thick & Quick®. I'm wearing it without rolling up the edge, a wider tie and a modified and looser pompom.
The original pattern is great too and it's rated easy. I think you'll find the yarn fun and quick. Make one for yourself and a friend.
It's also a wonderful hat for a charity project.

It looks like a fairly simple pattern. How long does this take for a beginning knitter?
ReplyDeleteHi Nancy - Thanks for your comment. It goes rather quickly because you're using larger needles and thick yarn. You will need to know how to cast on,knit, purl, k 2 tog, bind off and make the pompom. There is help on LionBrand.com as well as KnittingDaily.com to help you along if you get stuck.
