Every time a crafter creates, a fairy earns her wings...

(L to R)Tiffany Windsor Me and Heidi Borchers at the 2nd Annual Wye River Designs Fairy Festival in Graysonville, MD.
Dave took the pic for us.

Today, I had the best time at the 2nd Annual Wye River Designs Fairy Festival in Graysonville.  I first learned of the event on CreatingTheHive.com, in the Events section.  Last Monday, I got the full scoop about the event on Cool2Craft .  It was so fun to see young crafters learning to play and create with so many fun materials and teachers.  It was also a chance to learn more about  Wye River Designs Studio, check out the crafty goodies, peruse the herbs and visit with Tiffany Windsor , Heidi Borchers and Candace Liccione, The Queen Fairy.

My wand has an honorary place with my knitting needles.  It will always be close by for inspiration and when I need a little extra knitting magic.

Close up of the cool crafty fairy items.
(say that 5 times fast!)

One of Heidi's handcrafted boxes has a new home
on my coffee table.

Today I learned it's never to late to play, craft, and create a fairytale in your own life.  Some pleasant side effects of a pinch of fairy dust sprinkled over you by the Queen Fairy are giggles, unsolicited twirling, and snazzy wand snaps.  A little fairy dust goes a long way.

Create a little sparkle in your life, support local crafters and allow the magic to begin.
